Ok, let's get started! Remember,
Jane the Virgin has some mature content, so viewer discretion is advised. Now, let's get started!
We start with a flashback of Jane at her twenty-first birthday party. After the magical night Jane had with Michael, he returns to the house because Xo is passed out on the porch swing. They move her inside, much to the embarrassment of Jane. Back in the present, Jane is going over her bachelorette party list with her friends, making sure there won't be any crazy stuff at the party. Jane must soon be on her way though, but meets her twin step-sisters who want her to convince Rogelio to invest in their blog. After coming to an agreement with Rogelio she meets Michael outside where he tells her how Rogelio has taken over the bachelor party planning.
They move on by instead talking about their vows, which isn't going the best on Jane's part. She doesn't think about that though because she must be on her way to work. Professor Blake comes in and asks Jane if she would be willing to host a tour for prospective students. She heartily agrees, but everything crashes and burns when a stripper bursts into the meeting and starts grinding on Jane.
Jane now faces the possibility of being fired from her job. Petra is also stressed, seeing as how she is starting her medication, and is also contemplating whether or not to leave. Rafael is meeting with Michael to see if they could find anything on his brother, but in order to do so they would have to go against the law. Back with Jane, she's upset with Xo and Lina for sending the stripper and doesn't want any more surprises, but unfortunately they're already on the way with a party bus. At first she's upset, but decides to give in and take a shot.
Meanwhile, Rogelio has set up a dinner party for Michael and his friends. It doesn't go very well, but Jane's party is starting to lighten up. Lina asks Xo to get more drinks because she doesn't want to talk to the bartender who she's had a fling with, and she also butts head with another girl at the party who wonders what she's doing with her life. Also, Jane is pretty upset with her mom for getting a bit out of control.
But more important is Petra, who has dyed her hair brown, prepping for her escape. At the same time, investigators go into Rafael's brother's boat, checking his GPA's history. Meanwhile, Michael sits awkwardly at his bachelor party as his friends tell stories of his party days to Rogelio. He soon urges them to stop, and they do, just in time for Rogelio to bring them all to a spa. Jane isn't enjoying her party either and asks Xo for her phone back (which she had taken so she would "relax") so she could find out if she still has her job. Xo agrees, and Jane soon finds out Professor Blake is allowing her to keep her job. She is relieved, but that relief is quickly washed away when Xo accidentally sends an incriminating message to his answering machine.
Jane concocts a plan to retrieve Professor Blake's phone and delete the message but needs someone to do it for her. Because they're all too drunk, she finds Rogelio's step-daughters and strikes a deal with them; if they can be bridesmaids at her wedding, they will steal the phone. Meanwhile, Rafael is keeping his brother busy with drinks while the investigators search his boat. While drinking, one of his brother's friends ask if Rafael is willing to invest in something, but he's not in a place to. We go back to Petra who is taking money out of an ATM.
Back to Jane, we find her texting with Michael about both of their awful nights. While Michael is at the spa, his friends urge him to leave, but Michael says he doesn't want to hurt Rogelio's feelings, which Rogelio overhears. Michael goes to apologize to Rogelio, and Rogelio comes to terms with the fact that he can't be another one of Michael's friends. Michael goes to tell his friends they can leave, but they end up wanting to stay. Meanwhile, Jane sends the twins off on the mission. They come back with the phone, but haven't deleted the message. Jane does it for them, just as the alarm goes off. She throws it in a nearby bush and dashes out.
Meanwhile, Petra boards a bus to an unknown destination, and Michael gets messages from Rogelio, in which they are once again reunited as bros. Later, as Jane celebrates successfully deleting the message, she realizes her mother is missing. The group heads to the hotel to wait up for her, and Michael shows up, then texts Xo to head to the hotel. Without the parents, the crew has an after party at the Marbella. Finally feeling relaxed, Jane busts out some beats.
On the flip side of things is Petra, who, on the bus, maybe regrets leaving. Also regretting things is Xo, who is found kissing the bartender Lina had a fling with. Lina runs out in tears, and Jane confronts her mom about her being so out of control. Jane then goes to talk with Lina, and the whole thing has Lina thinking about things and how she feels like she's not progressing. Jane decides to help her with her dream of being a stylist. Meanwhile, Xo goes to Abuela for comfort and feels bad for messing up.
After the party, Jane and Michael stay up talking, and decide they want to share their vows only with each other. The next morning we find Rafael with his brother, finding out from the investigators that his brother's boat was clean. In a better mood, he talks with his brother, but finds out he drunkenly invested in illegal stock or something. I didn't understand all the business talk. But either way, they're in trouble.
Also in trouble is Xo, who tries apologizing to Jane, but Jane is not having it this time and closes the door on her. We then go to Petra, who is walking back to the hotel. But wait...Petra was on the bus, and now Petra is...opening the door? Turns out it wasn't Petra all along, but her long lost sister.
